Saint Mary’s University is hosting an event for interested grade 11 students from July 22nd to 23rd. For more information see Guidance or email recruitment@smu.ca.

Yearbooks are on sale in the library during both lunches only. They are $50 each and will be sold on a first come first served basis. Get yours now as quantities are limited.

O’Leary Recreational Department is looking for any students looking for volunteer hours this summer that would be interested in coaching minor soccer in O’Leary. It would be a practice and a game per week. If anyone is interested please contact the O’Leary Rec Department.

Students looking for seasonal government work can pick up applications up in guidance.

Grade 12 information:

The Father Ellsworth scholarship ($500) is available to students from Palmer Road parish. Application forms can be picked up F. J. Shea & Sons (Frankie’s) in St. Louis.

Saint Dunstan’s University Bursary deadline is August 31st. Criteria can be found at www.saintdunstansuniversity.ca under the scholarships and bursaries link.

 Programs/other:    

Westisle Buskers will be every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday in the gym from 8:30 till 8:53. Lots of activities to learn and excel in. They include juggling, unicycling, ripstiking, extreme pogo, diablo, and balance skills. Everyone is welcome.

Westisle’s Armover Club will be every Tuesday and Thursday, first lunch in room 515, start time 11:45. Come out and see what this club is all about. Lots of fun.
